Meet Uncle Carlin ✨

Hello! I'm Uncle Carlin—a proud Indiana University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Performing Arts (2015). With over 10 years of hands-on experience in childcare settings, I've dedicated my career to nurturing young minds and building the confidence children need to thrive. As a father of two adult sons and grandfather to one precious granddaughter, storytelling isn't just my profession—it's woven into the fabric of my family.

My passion for performance extends beyond the page as an active member of Upon This Rock Productions, a long-standing faith-based theatre company that fuels my love for bringing stories to life. I'm also deeply committed to my community through the Martin Center Sickle Cell Initiative, a cause especially close to my heart as a recent kidney transplant recipient (2024). That journey reminded me just how powerful connection, hope, and a good story can be—and it's exactly what I bring to every read-aloud. Each storytime helps build early literacy, confidence, and everyday habits like brushing teeth, potty training, and emotional regulation—perfect for home, classrooms, and your daily routines!
